The Drama Club is offering a scholarship for Senior Drama Students who plan to study a theater-related field. Interested students should submit a letter of interest to Mrs. Buehler in Room 107 by Friday, May 9th.
posted on 05/05/08 This year’s Junior/Senior Prom is being held on Thursday, May 29th. Prom tickets will be sold during junior/senior lunches through Friday, May 16th. Students must have a signed permission slip to purchase a ticket. The cost is $75 per ticket. posted on 05/05/08 The Interact car wash is on Saturday, May 17th. Felician College is in Lodi, New Jersey. The Instant Decision Days are May 5th through May 10th and June 16th through 21st. No appointment is necessary. Students just need to bring their transcript and SAT scores. There will be smaller class sizes and students will have the chance to see what college work is like with a light course load. This concert includes CHS instrumental ensembles and the Rush School Advanced Band. Last year, a CHS graduate won $8,400 towards his college education. You must rank in the top 29% of the class to qualify. To be eligible for this award, students or one of their parents must be a firefighter or an EMT and the student must have good discipline and attendance records. This is a $500 award. posted on 04/21/08 Tickets are now available for the CHS Marching Band’s “BASKET BONANZA” on Sunday, May 18th, 2008 in the CHS Cafeteria from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. All proceeds from this event will benefit the marching band. Raffle tickets are $5.00 per sheet and will also be available at the door. Gift baskets overflowing with tempting items such as novelties, gift certificates, coupons, etc. will be on display for you to try to win! There will also be entertainment, desserts, beverages, a 50/50 and door prizes.
