Monday, March 17 schools will be closed for staff and students.
Friday, May 30th will be a single session for High School students (Gr. 9-12) - to be followed by staff in-service to complete the day.
If we have another school closing between March 3 and March 14, the above is null and void and school will be in regular session for students and staff Monday, March 17 and Tuesday, March 18.

Time is running out for Seniors who are interested in attending Burlington County College and want to be a part of BCC’s Spring Ahead Program. Applications for BCC are due in the Guidance Office no later than Thursday, February 14th to be included in this program. Students are able to take the BCC placement test at CHS and be able to go to select BCC to classes in May.

Officer Seymour, CHS’s resource police officer, would like to remind students that when they leave the building, they are not allowed to go around the back of the building. Several complaints have been received about students speeding behind the building trying to beat the buses out. Any student who is caught doing this will lose their CHS parking privileges.

The 2007-2008 Buccaneer Yearbook is midway through production and your chance to grab these memories at a discounted rating is slipping away. The current rate of $95 is in effect until Friday, February 29th. After that date, the book will cost $100. Now is the time to buy your yearbook if you have not already done so before the price on this limited commodity goes up. Of the 500 books ordered, nearly 400 of them are already accounted for. Yearbooks are available for purchase while supplies last up to and including the June delivery date.

Orders from the Senior Graduation brochure, which have not yet been distributed, will be taken by the Herff Jones representative at the time of cap and gown measurements. If the brochures arrive in time, they will be distributed in homeroom on Tuesday, 1/22/2008 (before mid-terms). If not, They will be given out on Monday, 1/28/2008.

During midterms on Jan 23, 24 and 25, if there is a delayed opening due to inclement weather, the school day will follow a delayed opening bell schedule. Students will attend classes instead of reporting to midterms. The midterms scheduled for that day will be postponed until the following school day. The order of the scheduled midterms will not be adjusted.

Midshipmen from the Naval Academy will be visiting Cinnaminson during winter break. They will be meeting at the Cinnaminson Community Center on Manor Road on Sunday, December 30th from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM. Anyone interested in applying to the Naval Academy should try to attend.

The Guidance Office has applications for the NJ 2008 Law Enforcement Examination. This is the Civil Service test for Law Enforcement, which is only given once every two years. Applications for spring testing are due on March 31, 2008.

The Cinnaminson Soccer Club will award scholarships to Cinnaminson High School Seniors based on academic achievement, school activities, participation in athletics, and community service. Students who have participated in any of the Cinnaminson Soccer Club programs for at least four years are eligible. Applicants will NOT be selected solely on soccer ability or achievements in soccer.
