I grew up in Monmouth County NJ.  I graduated from St. John’s University with Dual Certification in Elementary Education and Special Education in 1998.  I earned my master’s degree as a Reading Specialist from St. John’s University in 2000.  I taught special education in New York City before coming to work in Cinnaminson as a special education teacher.  This is my 8^th year teaching and I have been working in Cinnaminson for the last 5 years. I have taught both special education and regular education in Cinnaminson.  This is my first year working as a reading specialist.  It has been a challenging and exciting year!  I enjoy working with the staff and students at Rush School.  It is such a wonderful place to work.  I am currently working on my second master’s degree in administration and supervision.

When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband and my two year old son.  I enjoy reading, spending time with friends and family, and going to the beach
