Advanced Band meets every Tuesday that there is a full day of school.
The instruments we offer are:

| Clarinet | French Horn | All Percussion students will learn the Snare Drum and Bell Kit. This will give everyone rhythm and tonal instruments to play! |

| STRINGS | Violin | Viola | Cello | Double Bass |
Daily Procedure
1. Enter the Room
2. Go to seat or area and set up your instrument
3. Take out practice log and place it on the music stand
4. Look at the board for the DAILY GOAL
5. Follow the classroom expectations
6. Work hard to achieve the Daily Goal
7. When instructed, put instrument away quietly and immediately
Classroom Expectations
1. Act with Respect
2. Play only when instructed
3. Follow Directions the 1st Time
4. Listen and Respond appropriately
5. Remain in your seat/ Remain at your instrument (Percussion)
6. Bring your instrument to each lesson
7. Maintain proper posture while playing
Consequences
When the Classroom Expectations or the Daily Procedures are not followed, consequences are necessary so the class can be successful!
1st Offense - Verbal Warning - Opportunity to correct behavior or actions
2nd Offense - Dismissal from lesson, Contact Parent, and discussion with Homeroom Teacher/Administration
Repeat Offenses - Administrative actions if necessary

If you decide that you do not like the instrument you selected, do not just quit. Let’s try picking a different instrument. You may decide you like it better!
