I was born, rasied, educated and spent the first ten
years of my teaching career in Philadelphia. I ventured across the
river when I married my husband 35 years ago. Since then I have been
fortunate to be a member of this wonderful community.
Our three children are all graduates of the
Cinnaminson School system.
I first became an active member of the Rush school
family when I served as vice president of the Rush Home and School
many years ago.
I joined the teaching staff at Rush in 1986 and
for the past 22 years, I have had the privilege of serving the
children of Cinnaminson as a kindergarten teacher, first grade
teacher, reading specialist and currently as the elementary
supervisor.
You might interact wth me when you need
information aboaut our BSIP program, the CARES program, the Summer
SMART program or the after school tutoring program. I am also a
menber of the school IRS committee.
I spend some time each day working with individual
and/or small groups of students instructing them on literacy
skills. I work closely with the teachers to provide support and the
materials they need to make the time spend in school a successful
experience for all our children.
When I am not at Rush, I am spending time with my
granddaughters or I head to the beautiful Brigantine Beach with a
few good books. It doesn't even have to be summer because I love the
sight, sound, smell and feel of the ocean no matter what season it
is.
