A native of
Philadelphia, I graduated from Glassboro State College (Rowan
University) with a Bachelor of Arts degree and Masters of
Education. I have also taken education courses from Jersey City
College. I reside in Mt. Laurel with my wife, who is also a
teacher, and our two sons.
My career in
education began in Eleanor Rush Elementary School as a student
teacher in a third grade class before accepting a position as a
fifth grade teacher.
Throughout my tenure
in Cinnaminson, I have taught in grades Kindergarten, 3rd,
5th, 7th, 8th grade Language Arts,
and Basic Skills Kdg. through 8th grade.
In addition to my
classroom experience, I have served as the district’s Basic Skills
and Test Coordinator before becoming the Principal of the Eleanor
Rush Elementary School.
Music has always been
a part of my life. I continue to play drums professionally as a
freelance and studio musician. |
