THURSDAY, JUNE 12 (6TH AND 7TH GRADE JAZZ & ADVANCED CONCERT BAND PLAYERS): PROMOTION BAND @ CHS FOR CMS PROMOTION EXERCISES AT H.S. FOOTBALL STADIUM (INSIDE IF RAINING).  REPORT TO HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL STADIUM @ 5:00PM.

 

 

NEW BAND LESSONS SCHEDULE:

Small group lessons are now scheduled during lunch times.  Students will bring their lunch to the band room, eat, and then practice or practice then eat.

Monday – Flutes and Clarinets

Tuesday – Saxophones

Wednesday – Trumpets

Thursday – Trombone, Baritone, Tuba, French Horn

Friday - Percussion

 

Band & Chimes group rehearsal takes place during advisory using the 6 day cycle. 

DAY 1 – CHIMES 8

DAY 2 – CHIMES 7

DAY 3 – CHIMES 6-3 (BAND AFTER 4/17)

DAY 4 – CHIMES 6-4 (BAND AFTER 4/17)

DAY  5 & 6 -  BAND

 

Jazz Band rehearsal is held before school on Thursday morning.

Rehearsal: ***FRIDAY MORNING, MAY 2 & MAY 9

Thursday Morning May 15, Wednesday Morning May 21 * Concert Night.

Jazz Band Student entry to building before school: Jazz Band students need to be dropped off (transportation must be arranged by parent/guardian) behind the school at the double doors behind the band room in the morning on the day of rehearsal after 7:15am but before 7:25.  After 7:25, students will not be able to enter the building.  Cars should enter the parking lot off of Forklanding Road and proceed around the gym across the back of the building, drop off your jazz band member, and exit onto Pine Street.  Following rehearsal, students will be dismissed to their lockers and proceed to first period.

If school is closed, there will be no rehearsal that day nor that week.  These doors will only be used by jazz band students and parking is not permitted behind the school during the school day.  I will inform you if rehearsal is cancelled for any other reason.  Check here for updates frequently.  SEE REGISTRATION PACKET AND DATES ABOVE.
