¡Hello//Hola!
¡Ya llega la Primavera! Spring is almost here!
This is a very brief update of what is happening in our Spanish lessons this week.
Pre K- K students are learning the basic foods (comida) combined with chants and show and tell.
1st and 2nd graders are learning about foods (similar to K) but are also using workbook pages in their lessons.
3rd graders have learned about "Recordando Diego Rivera", the great Mexican muralist. The children decorated the outside of our classroom with their art work.
4th grade students are learning about the family, "La familia" and are creating a family tree.
5th grade is writing a small composition en Español about "La Vida de Maria Goretti", a kind Italian saint.
6-7-8th grade students are studying the conjugation of action verbs in present tense.
