Principal's Update...News from Mrs. Kinnevy

Dear Parents,
Good day and God bless you and your family. I want to extend my congratulations to Amanda Fitzpatrick, Samantha Cooke, and Kate Forte for representing St. Charles Borromeo School at a recent Knights of Columbus Spelling Bee. Kate Forte placed third and went on to The Burlington County Spelling Bee.
We received word from the Office of Family Life/Respect Life that Isabel Kuzy won first place in the Grades K-2 category for her poster. Dominic Colon also won first place for his poster in the Grades 3-5 category. Carolyn Eckerle was awarded second place for her essay, and Matt Gebhardt was awarded third place for his essay in the Grades 3-5 category.
Burlington County Times recently held their annual Spelling Bee at Holy Cross High School. Donald Martocello, a 6th grader at St. Charles, tied for second place in the county competition. Congratulations, Donnie we look forward to next year.
Next week the students in grades second to seventh will participate in the Terra Nova tests. These tests measure your child's overall aptitude. There is no need to study for the tests. I would recommend that your child goes to bed on time and eats a healthy breakfast each morning.
Please send in your re-registration forms if you have not done so. Also transportation forms are due by Monday, March 12th.
I also wish to extend my thanks to Miss Jennifer Weir. Miss Weir was recently offered and accepted a full time teaching position. If you know of anyone interested and qualified to teach music please have them contact me. This is a part-time position. Sincerely,
