Food Safety

Cinnaminson Township Public Schools district, in cooperation with our Food Services management company and the Burlington County Health Department, works to ensure that all who attend, work and visit our schools are provided with safe food.  This is done through inspections and follow-ups, routine monitoring, delivery control, and complaint investigations.

The district also has in place a Food Service Biosecurity Management Plan.  Its purpose is to help protect the health of the students and staff in our schools by minimizing the risk of intentional contamination of food and strengthening the safety of our food service operation.

All cafeteria kitchens and culinary classroom kitchens must meet the Retail Food Establishment Sanitation Requirements established by the state of New Jersey (N.J.A.C. 8:24).
