Chemical Hygiene

The Laboratory Safety and Chemical Hygiene Plan (CHP) is a written program to protect Cinnaminson High School and Middle School teachers and other staff members working in the educational laboratories from health hazards associated with the use of chemicals in those laboratories.  The CHP describes policies, procedures, and control measures that must be understood and observed by all individuals involved in the laboratory use of chemicals. While the Plan establishes work practices to promote safety in the laboratory, each individual has the first responsibility for ensuring that good health and safety practices are implemented in the laboratory.
